Gosh, what sorcery is this, me blogging twice in the space of a week? I know, I've gotten out of my stride a bit. Partly because I haven't stayed dressed long enough to get attached to any outfit, which is honestly in fact less sexy than it sounds. Sorry.

One thing I keep coming back to when getting dressed is these shorts, by Addams at Collabor88. I got the fatpack and omg so many options. Colors of the shorts, the turnups, options to show and hide and texture the pockets, lots of options for the belt, and sizes and fits for all kinds of mesh bodies. The top is rather older and from Sn@tch, and goes really very well I think. 

My stunning rose tattoo is a prize from Tenjin on the upcoming Body Art Hunt, expect to see more about this is upcoming posts. I love how elegant and pretty and twirly it is all draped across the collarbone like a necklace. 

Look at my pretty kitty shades! They're by Atooly on the fun new event called Mix. The point in Mix is to get people into mainstores a bit more, and as the name suggests, it's a mix of things, there's are three categories of thing - Sale, New, and Exclusive, and there's a color-coded HUD that teleports you around. My gorgeous shoes are by Lassitude & Ennui for Mix too, they have such a beautiful light floral texture and drapey bows on the back <3

The case I'm holding is no ordinary little case! It's by Little Llama and is an art case! The exterior is color-change to Camp Hardknock cabin colors, and the rezzable version contains drawing animations and selectable original artwork by ME! Also some others, and also you can add your own. But what's also awesome is, for right now, it's free! :D

Well, I'm still on a redecorating my house kick (as you may note if you saw my previous post, the memorial to my dear old cubby. At this point I've got everything shiny and retextured. Now it's a case of refurnishing. This, for me, means lots and lots of yardsaling. LOTS of yardsaling. Which is where my big bonsai friend here came from. Sure, he's small for a tree, but really, very big for a bonsai. Like a giant dwarf.

One thing about going back to the Porcelain tone of skin is, my ears needed retinting, which became a more pressing need when I put on this gorgeous hair by Spellbound at the Dark Style Fair. Boy am I ever out of practice tinting with a HUD. Appliers have ruined me! 

My awesome leather boots are by Lassitude&Ennui at this round of We <3 Role-Play. I like the way they make me feel like an adventurer. Like when I have ham and cheese and a chunk of bread for dinner and call it "Adventurer's Dinner" because it feels like something you'd bundle up in a kerchief before setting off into the woods, where you meet a giant dwarf, rather than being a not very responsible adult. Only, these are boots, and you also can wear them if you're a responsible adult.

I wore this dress by B.C.C at Kawaii Project for a few days in a size too big because I was too lazy to alpha stuff out, and you could totally see all my boobs. Oops. But it's really pretty, and in-person, layered very delicately too, it's worth checking out. 

My matching collar and cuffs are by Noodles also at We <3 Role-Play, and are OpenCollar scripted to do all sorts of fancy things with poses and chains and various RLV features and comes in 6 colours, so even if you don't want to use those features, you can still look pretty!

My septum piecing here by The Horror you can't really see in the picture has a little moon cut out of it, it's so cute. You can get it at The Countdown Room, which is a very limited time event, ends this week, so go hurry there.

Oh you know what I forgot to do but didn't notice until I was typing this up? Change my makeup from my last post. I am REALLY on the ball today.Good job me. Luckily I look awesome. This bold clean liner from Nova is just so pretty, and I love the simplicity of Pink Fuel's lipstains. So it all worked out for the best, really.

Busy day today - various things commencing and whatnot. I started my day in SL by starting the exciting new Wayward Hunt, which is a rebranding of the venerable Zombie Popcorn event group, but it turned out I'd jumped the gun, since it didn't actually start until 1pm SLT, and here I was excitedly running around at like, 5am or something. Stupid timezones. So I plan on picking that up again after I've finished this post, since there's some cracking stores along that trail.

Instead of that, I did the also just-started-today TAG Gacha thingy, which combines the hopping from store to store nature of a hunt with the wallet drainingness of a gacha event! Um but I made it sound much less fun than it is. You wear a HUD and it teleports you to each shop and you click the thing there to show you've been there, and then there's a gacha machine you can optionally play and in each machine you have the chance to win a Rare ticket for a special prize at the end! Phew! The theme for this round is circus sideshow and there's plenty of creepy cute greatest show on earth stuff to play for along the way! 

It's where I met my little friend(s) here, Sai-Khwa, the two-headed monster of Thailand! Lassitude & Ennui's machine is packed full of a circus of cute and special cats, all of whom have their own little story, there's more to Sai-Khwa than meets the eye!

My shirt is by Offbeat at Xiasumi School Festival and I liked it because the ink blot looked like Mickey Mouse. I bought it on hyasynth Tiramisu's recommendation and then I bought the pants she recommended too and then was for some reason startled today when I went to see her and we were dressed the same-ish. On the one hand, I should probably be more original, on the other hand, I could have a much worse occasional stylist than her.

My awesome hair is by Olive at The Kawaii Project. I remember a few years ago, just before mesh was a thing, streaked hair was all over the place and I loved it, throwing a blonde streak all up in there. It's rarer now but I always jump on it when it's an option. My eye makeup is gorgeously layered and by Wicked Peach at Black Fashion Fair which also opened today because today is apparently epic. 

Oh, and my poster is by Frogstar at The End, a post-apocalyptic event which didn't open epic-today, but yesterday, which is close enough. The numbers on the poster can be changed. I chose 626 because of reasons, and if you can guess my reasons, you can be my friend!

While I'm away I'm trying various things with my picture-taking to compensate for a lack of graphics quality. This accounts for the lack of consistency and general...stuffishness here. These particular pictures were taken in the Black Dragon viewer, which is why they're rather less jaggedy than in my last post, but they also came out terribly dark, so I've fiddled around in Pixlr. 

So onto the meat of the stuff. 

My dress (it is a dress, in fact) is the new CreamFresh by Ducknipple and is controlled by HUD in 12 different colours and has an excellent subtle diagonal stripe sheen on it. 

The boots are part of one of Plastik's legendary Fifty Linden Friday "outfits" (which actually amount to more like a mini wardrobe around a theme, always worth picking up). 

While I've been busy, one of the few events I've been sure to hit up is the Creepy Kawaii Fair. First of all my skin from there, by Pink Fuel. It feels funny to go back to a darker Crystal tone from the Vamp, but the Glitter Tears makeup is just to die for. In comes in various variations, and as an excellent bonus, includes a HUD which dispenses all the appliers currently offered by Pink Fuel in one convenient package, though this does not yet include appliers for the Belleza or Maitreya bodies, so here I am wearing the Slink Physique instead.

Also from Creepy Kawaii is this amazing ringletty hair by Ayashi. Ayashi is one of those stores I should shop more often, I really should, because I find myself enjoying their innovative styles very often when I do - this one includes the little devil horns, which can also be hidden. My last Creepy Kawaii purchase in this post is the baby giraffe, from a gacha by Half Deer, which I must admit I rather splurged on, because giraffes are rather my favourite animal, and this one came in so many lovely designs. He's a walking along friend, and the gacha has no rares! Yay!

I wanted to be a classy broad today so here I am. Being one. A classy broad. 

My shiny tube dress is by Ducknipple - it's hud-scripted with 12 gorgeous colour options, and it can be dressed up or down. In this case down, because of classy I guess? I've paired with with KaliKo's Signature Jeans, on Omega appliers in 7 colours, although with appliers for the Lena body and the Slink Physique.

Before I put some pants on, I decided to try out the feet that came with the Maitreya Lara body. Previously I've been sticking to my Slink feet because of course I have so many shoes that fit them, but because there still are no Pink Fuel appliers for the Lara body, I can't quite get the right match at the ankles. The Oana pumps by Pure Poison are some of the few shoes I have for Maitreya feet, and ended up being pretty much the basis for this outfit, with everything else built around them.

Since I had a spare tattoo layer today, I thought I'd explore the world of tattoo eyebrows. Not that you could tell, I didn't stray too far out of my comfort zone with these nice fluffy ones from Buzzeri, but still, it's an exciting new avenue for me. Also of note: when wearing a no-eyebrows skin I look 90% more both creepy and couture. It's pretty cool. 

For my accessories I've picked something a bit unconventional for this kind of look - Lassitude&Ennui's wrought metal and bird-skull torc (I remember there being some discussion on Plurk about how that was spelled) and Aisling's Lady of Highgarden bracers which actually do adapt to modern outfits surprisingly well. Then again, I'm the kind of person who used to wear occasional bracers or eye-patches in real life, so I'm perhaps not the best judge of that sort thing.

So I'm not sure I approve of this whole 2015 thing. I'm in denial. Makes me feel old. Please stop. It's actually that I'm still not quite used to the new number, but then I try to push past my standard betrayal at the lack of hoverboards and tiny dehydrated Pizza Hut and a fax machine in every room and I end up looking at the actual fact that it's 30 years since Back To The Future and it makes me wonder where all the time went.

Here are some thing I put on me to look pretty though. 

To start, these Thylacine boots, by Lassitude&Ennui at We <3 Role-Play, which I have been running around wearing with very little else since I first got them a few days ago. These thigh-high moccasin boots are a work of art in terms of comfortable realism, from the buttery-soft texture of the suede leather to the messy little creases, and the leather cord lacing tied with irregular knots. They're both gorgeous and unusual. They are fitted mesh, with a separate version to fit Slink bodies and feet perfectly, and currently have a special limited time event price of 180L. 

With them, I could have worn nothing, but instead, I'm wearing something, Sakide's Sorcerer outfit. It comes with its own thigh-based thingies, something between chaps and legwarmers, which are really nice, but do not really allow me to show off my boots as well as I would like to, so I skipped that part. Luckily, the outfit comes in many pieces, the sleeves, corset, and panties are all individual, for as much mixing and matching as my little heart desires, and also included are versions with the black/white portions inverted. 

My hair is another thing I haven't taken off in a few days. It's by Asset, and I really enjoy how it's quite a sleek, classic ponytail, relatively elegant, and then brought up to date with the shaved portion. I did have a fer fitting problems because I have a big gigantic stupid head, I'm actually wearing the mens size, because even with the help of the included alpha, my head still pokes through at the back. The included tintable shaved hairbase texture, though, is excellent. I'm a bit picky about shaved hairbases, and this is one of my favourites so far. 

My makeup is also from We <3 Role-Play, and is by Wicked Peach, one of two full-face styles they have at the event right now. This one, Lotus, is a beautiful neo-geisha makeup, slightly translucent so that your own natural faceishness can shine through too. Further to the bounty of We <3 Role-Play, my necklace by Noodles, is enormously intricate and comes scripted with OpenCollar, which gives it all sorts of neat RLV features if that's your bag.

Finally, the plug-in star on my wall by Atooly, the first release from the Atooly Home sub-brand. It's scripted to two different awesome early 90s pastel colour schemes, and there is also an exclusive version available as a group gift with even more colour options. It's rad and going in my bedroom, and is currently available at the Oneword event.
