Busy day today - various things commencing and whatnot. I started my day in SL by starting the exciting new Wayward Hunt, which is a rebranding of the venerable Zombie Popcorn event group, but it turned out I'd jumped the gun, since it didn't actually start until 1pm SLT, and here I was excitedly running around at like, 5am or something. Stupid timezones. So I plan on picking that up again after I've finished this post, since there's some cracking stores along that trail.

Instead of that, I did the also just-started-today TAG Gacha thingy, which combines the hopping from store to store nature of a hunt with the wallet drainingness of a gacha event! Um but I made it sound much less fun than it is. You wear a HUD and it teleports you to each shop and you click the thing there to show you've been there, and then there's a gacha machine you can optionally play and in each machine you have the chance to win a Rare ticket for a special prize at the end! Phew! The theme for this round is circus sideshow and there's plenty of creepy cute greatest show on earth stuff to play for along the way! 

It's where I met my little friend(s) here, Sai-Khwa, the two-headed monster of Thailand! Lassitude & Ennui's machine is packed full of a circus of cute and special cats, all of whom have their own little story, there's more to Sai-Khwa than meets the eye!

My shirt is by Offbeat at Xiasumi School Festival and I liked it because the ink blot looked like Mickey Mouse. I bought it on hyasynth Tiramisu's recommendation and then I bought the pants she recommended too and then was for some reason startled today when I went to see her and we were dressed the same-ish. On the one hand, I should probably be more original, on the other hand, I could have a much worse occasional stylist than her.

My awesome hair is by Olive at The Kawaii Project. I remember a few years ago, just before mesh was a thing, streaked hair was all over the place and I loved it, throwing a blonde streak all up in there. It's rarer now but I always jump on it when it's an option. My eye makeup is gorgeously layered and by Wicked Peach at Black Fashion Fair which also opened today because today is apparently epic. 

Oh, and my poster is by Frogstar at The End, a post-apocalyptic event which didn't open epic-today, but yesterday, which is close enough. The numbers on the poster can be changed. I chose 626 because of reasons, and if you can guess my reasons, you can be my friend!

Dude, I have totally forgotten how I do all of this. I used to have this whole like, routine, a groove I'd gotten into. That'll teach me go on extended vacations. 

So please bear with me if my pictures are kind of crap and my writeups are rambly as hell for the next few posts. I'll soon be back to my usual type of crap and rambles!

So here I am wearing things. I left my avatar in the same one thing for the last month, and it was a nice outfit but it was starting to smell, quite frankly, so it'll likely never see the light of day here, alas.

Here what I'm wearing starts with the gorgeous highwaisted "Melody" mermaid skirt by Noodles, which was in last month's round of We <3 Role-Play. Melody, for those of you who are somehow not Disney nerds, is the name of Ariel's daughter, you know. I totally met Ariel when I was away on my trip, and my face was the biggest, reddest, shiniest most excited thing that ever existed ever. So this skirt is completely 100% relevant to my feels and vacation memories and so on!

Although there is an amazing bralette top by Noodles that matches the skirt, I'm wearing Sn@tch's super dainty Tawny Floral Top, which is at once both demure and sexy. This top is on an applier for the Slink Physique I am back in love with, but an exciting change which has come about at Sn@tch while I've been gone is that Ivey has stopped selling things by size, instead offering all the standard sizes in one pack, with a choice of Copy or Transfer permissions. This is fantastic for me, since I tend to fall between sizes quite a lot, I'm so glad for it.

I'm cradling one of the unbelievably adorable Baby Kitsunes by Schadenfreude from her gacha on the Supernatural level of this round of Xiasumi School Festival. The faces on these things. I squealed so damn hard. And and their little feet twitch in their sleep, and their tails, these things are ABSURD in their cuteness.

Starting tomorrow, I am going to be away from home for almost two months. I'll have my laptop, but it's not nearly as nice as my desktop, so while I will be able to be in SL and even blog some, my pictures are likely to be a bit um...worse. So I figured I should make the effort to be a bit more grown-up for this post.

It was tough to stop running around as a kid, so I needed to shock myself out of with by being all sexy, that's what's happening here, and also, here (nsfw) - kind of jarring, I know, but there's a whole slew of sexy events going on right now.

ROMP's Fresh spin-off event is one of these, showcasing a softer, more delicate side of kink. The Capture Me bed by Frogstar is from that event, shown here in the dark wood "Deviant" variant, but also in keeping with Fresh's theme, there is also an "Angel" version with light wood and white sheets. The bed itself is big enough for a small orgy, is loaded with Adult animations and cuddles, and rather importantly, incorporates a lockable cage for those who aren't allowed to play right now.

My Yes, Mistress eyemakeup by The Wicked Peach is also from Fresh, and has variations with either gold or silver liner on the lower lid.

My dress is by Insanya at the Burlesque event which is also going on right now. It comes in 8 lovely colours and a variety of sizes outside of the Standard. The skirt is very short in front and a little longer in the back, and the dress has a lovely bow on the back, and it makes me feel like a disreputable saloon girl.

My shoes are from one of Ducknipple's latest bargain SLX outfits, Brussel. The full outfit comes with a texture-change bustier, skirt, jewelry and these hot shoes, currently available for a promo price of only 100L$!

My usual red hair looked a bit heavy with this look, so I reverted my hair by Magika to its traditional out-of-the-box pale pink, which I must say, I really really like.

Just as I was taking these pictures it started to snow here, so now I feel vicariously freezing looking at how my avatar's dressed. It didn't start out so chilly-looking, in fact, the hair I'm wearing by Moon at the winter round of The Seasons Story incorporates an awesome texture-change scarf, but then it covered my fantastic tattoo by Insanya. The tattoo is actually even better at the back, with a more intricate tribal pattern, and stars down the spine, but this is the last day of this round of Project Limited, and it's a limited edition so, y'know. Hurry. 

I adore the tiered skirt here by Amiable, it also includes a fully see-through version that can be worn with leggings and so on. It's the sort of skirt I would wear in RL if I was more of a skirt-wearer. On my legs are tights although you can't really tell because my skin is so pale anyway, but they are a group gift from Izzie's, and the hearts on the knees come in various colour options, they are so cute. 

My shoes are by Bliensen+MaiTai and were in this round of 21Shoe, so unfortunately you can't get them in this gorgeous red anymore, sorry, I'm a horrible tease. But if you're very lucky you can get this halo I'm wearing by Noodles. It's an UltraRare from the gacha at The Secret Affair, which, again, closes today, so gogogo! So many things, so little time!

My theming today has less to do with a random burst of national pride, and more about a fundraising event going on right now, Leaf on the Wind. Leaf on the Wind is held in the benefit of Scarlett Chandrayaan, the owner of one of my favourite furniture stores, Alouette, who in addition to being a really adorable and incredibly talented person, also has terminal cancer. Money raised from this event will go towards helping her realize a wish of hers to visit London.

The mix of stuff on offer puts me in mind of a real London souvenir shop, albeit with less stuff with photos of the Royal family on it. Depending on your opinion of the British monarchy, this is probably not a bad thing.

My cute vintagey wavy hair by Tableau Vivant is from the event, as are my wonderful romantic punk necklace and earrings by Lolapop, all safety pins and roses, which comes in four lovely colours. Behind me, a chalkboarded repurposed door by Frogstar. If you look at the map on there, one of 6 fun Brit-themed textures, you will see that my hand is encompassing the little corner of England I live in. Feel free to stalk me, using that information. (Please do not actually stalk me, thx)

My dress is a new mainstore release from Ducknipple, it is HUD controlled and has 12 different colours for the top, I particularly love the detail of the texturing on the skirt though. My sneakers are by Bubble, and are from one of their two machines at this round of Oh My Gacha! Not very visible but very lovely are the bracelets I'm wearing, by Noodles at FaMESHed this month. They each have a positive little slogan on them, in my case I have "Follow Your Heart", "Believe" and "Never Give Up" 

As an aside, I've taken frankenbodies to a new level with this post, in which I am wearing TWO mesh bodies at once. Maitreya's Lara for the nice soft legs, with the top half alpha'd out, and Slink Physique for my top half for better skin matching at the wrists and neck until Pink Fuel comes out with appliers for Maitreya. I just thought it was an interesting thing I could do now.

I've been leaning too much towards dresses this December, too tasteful. So here's this!

My top is an applier by KaliKo, she's been producing a lot of applier clothing lately which I'm really enjoying, and as a bonus she's also now doing Omega appliers, which is good news for everyone! Also good news, the outfit this top comes from is currently a freebie at her Slink West (Physique applier only) and Love-n-Lust locations! 

My impossibly tiny shorts are by Sakide at the F R O S T event as part of the Thermal outfit, and include various HUD options including an ability to hide the pockets, decorative studs, and for the daring, panties. 

If you haven't been to the Arcade yet, you're clearly not paying attention. My socks by Erratic and my snow monster companion by my apparently unofficial mascot-maker of the season, silentsparrow, are from this month's round, but also from a gacha are my supercool horns (the lights are animated!). All of Souzou Eien's gacha machines are currently marked down to 25L a throw, so I was able to pick up a few of these in different colours, plus a few other awesome items, for next to nothing!

Though my pictures don't show it well, my hair by Tameless is a punky shaved-sides affair with a very full ponytail, but what I really love about it most is that one little strand hanging down at the front. I think that is completely charming.
