My family's been off on a lovely camping trip, my daddy did such a nice job decorating the campsite, so I wanted to take some pictures here. Trying to get a bit less studio-based, but it's haaarrrrd worrrrk, man. 

My whole outfit today is by Kylee's Place, at the newest round of Kid to Kid, the sweater and boots have like, a billion color-change options in a HUD, and the fox graphic is adorable. 

The superfun hair I'm wearing is by Doe at The Seasons Story, I really like Doe's unrigged hair for my TD, they have a lot of quite innovative styles. On my wrist, pride and joy, Noodles Slider Bracelet from The Epiphany gacha event, which I have completed in both Gold and Silver, including the fancy points prize charm for it. They don't show up well in the pictures, but I'm wearing some properly cute earrings by Rigby at Hello Beautiful.

I wanna take a sec to explain about the pile of things I wear on my face now. It's weirdly convoluted. I recently started wearing the skin I wear on my Big, which is Pink Fuel Harley in Porcelain, mostly because it's fairer than the Pink Fuel Doll skin I'd been wearing before. However, I prefer Doll's mouth for being a kid. So, on a tattoo layer, I'm wearing the "neutral lip + blush remove" layer, which is really intended as a makeup remover for Doll. It's not a perfect match around the mouth, but you really only see that if you know and you're looking close. So don't look close. 

I'm boosting my cute with PF Harley's Button Nose + Freckles tattoo along with my traditional Pekka Star Freckles, but the other big adaptation I've made to this skin by taking advantage of tattoo layers is at the eyes. Harley generally has some eyeliner, and after some searching, I found a layer by Des Lunes intended for use by kid avatars, which hides unwanted eyeliner, and is tintable for a good match. However for me, this took away a certain amount of definition I wanted, SO I put eyeliner ON TOP OF THE EYELINER REMOVER. Because I can. It's by Tuli and also tintable and very very subtle, but offers just exactly the level of defintion I was looking for. Oh and then my friend decided I looked too pale, and so she gave me her personal cheek blush, hah!

Gosh, what sorcery is this, me blogging twice in the space of a week? I know, I've gotten out of my stride a bit. Partly because I haven't stayed dressed long enough to get attached to any outfit, which is honestly in fact less sexy than it sounds. Sorry.

One thing I keep coming back to when getting dressed is these shorts, by Addams at Collabor88. I got the fatpack and omg so many options. Colors of the shorts, the turnups, options to show and hide and texture the pockets, lots of options for the belt, and sizes and fits for all kinds of mesh bodies. The top is rather older and from Sn@tch, and goes really very well I think. 

My stunning rose tattoo is a prize from Tenjin on the upcoming Body Art Hunt, expect to see more about this is upcoming posts. I love how elegant and pretty and twirly it is all draped across the collarbone like a necklace. 

Look at my pretty kitty shades! They're by Atooly on the fun new event called Mix. The point in Mix is to get people into mainstores a bit more, and as the name suggests, it's a mix of things, there's are three categories of thing - Sale, New, and Exclusive, and there's a color-coded HUD that teleports you around. My gorgeous shoes are by Lassitude & Ennui for Mix too, they have such a beautiful light floral texture and drapey bows on the back <3

The case I'm holding is no ordinary little case! It's by Little Llama and is an art case! The exterior is color-change to Camp Hardknock cabin colors, and the rezzable version contains drawing animations and selectable original artwork by ME! Also some others, and also you can add your own. But what's also awesome is, for right now, it's free! :D

Well, I'm still on a redecorating my house kick (as you may note if you saw my previous post, the memorial to my dear old cubby. At this point I've got everything shiny and retextured. Now it's a case of refurnishing. This, for me, means lots and lots of yardsaling. LOTS of yardsaling. Which is where my big bonsai friend here came from. Sure, he's small for a tree, but really, very big for a bonsai. Like a giant dwarf.

One thing about going back to the Porcelain tone of skin is, my ears needed retinting, which became a more pressing need when I put on this gorgeous hair by Spellbound at the Dark Style Fair. Boy am I ever out of practice tinting with a HUD. Appliers have ruined me! 

My awesome leather boots are by Lassitude&Ennui at this round of We <3 Role-Play. I like the way they make me feel like an adventurer. Like when I have ham and cheese and a chunk of bread for dinner and call it "Adventurer's Dinner" because it feels like something you'd bundle up in a kerchief before setting off into the woods, where you meet a giant dwarf, rather than being a not very responsible adult. Only, these are boots, and you also can wear them if you're a responsible adult.

I wore this dress by B.C.C at Kawaii Project for a few days in a size too big because I was too lazy to alpha stuff out, and you could totally see all my boobs. Oops. But it's really pretty, and in-person, layered very delicately too, it's worth checking out. 

My matching collar and cuffs are by Noodles also at We <3 Role-Play, and are OpenCollar scripted to do all sorts of fancy things with poses and chains and various RLV features and comes in 6 colours, so even if you don't want to use those features, you can still look pretty!

My septum piecing here by The Horror you can't really see in the picture has a little moon cut out of it, it's so cute. You can get it at The Countdown Room, which is a very limited time event, ends this week, so go hurry there.

Oh you know what I forgot to do but didn't notice until I was typing this up? Change my makeup from my last post. I am REALLY on the ball today.Good job me. Luckily I look awesome. This bold clean liner from Nova is just so pretty, and I love the simplicity of Pink Fuel's lipstains. So it all worked out for the best, really.

Lately I've been hanging out in Blithe a lot. It's a stunning pair of sims with lots of little areas for hanging out in and taking pictures and so on. Some of the pictures I've taken there are on my Flickr, directly from the SL viewer with no editing, that's how gorgeous the place is. A few days ago a new area opened up there, a bar in an old chapel, and I hurried on over, pausing only to throw together a suitable outfit, since it was an all-too-rare occasion for socializing. See I needed to be a bit casual, but also a bit shabby-chic elegant. I may be guilty of overthinking things a little.

So here's a thing I threw together or a refinement of same.

My lace shirt is something I've worn here before, in a different colour some months ago. It's by Nylon Outfitters and is an awesome little coverup, I'm a sucker for lace overlays and what have you. Underneath it is the supercute Jonquil chemise by Sn@tch, which has a lovely chintzy pattern in various colours. It's one of the things I've changed from my outfit since originally I was wearing the same undershirt as in my last post. But this one is lovely. I'm trying to accumulate long shirts on appliers for layering, it's sort of my bag.

My jeans are newly released from 20.Five and have previously been part of an SLX outfit bearing the same name, Tessa. These are a full version though, and come with a colour-change HUD with 5 different denim shades. I really like the fit of them and the highly defined wrinkles in them.

If you look really really close at my necklace you can see that the litttle tiiiny heart on it has a N on it. It's by Noodles at FaMESHed, and is so adorably dainty. Also, it has a HUD to change the letter, if for some reason you don't want an N on it...

My hair is part of a new set of released by Elikatira. I'm always excited when she puts out new stuff, even though it's so sporadically. There'll always be a part of me back in 2007 trying to bounce into the full region containing the big sales she'd sometimes hold with her old brand, ETD.

This is one of those outfits that came together at random and did so really well. See, while I was away, I didn't sort my inventory at all. When you shop as much as I do, that's a pretty major thing, compounded by the fact that I also kinda sorta hadn't sorted anything since September. I threw everything into a folder labeled with that month - which is how I know it's since September - but the whole thing was a mess. So the last few days have been spent trying to force the whole thing into...less chaos. Been trying to avoid shopping, not really succeeding.

Now, as much as I love the series of chain tops Noodles has been releasing of late, I usually don't really get a chance to showcase them here on my blog because I try to keep it PG here - if you really need to see my boobies, follow my Flickr and they're occasionally over there (along with some of the more nudier things Noodles makes, actually!). I was given the perfect opportunity to wear it with a bit of modesty when I tried on this Little Bones hair at N21. The texture-change scarf provides the perfect little bit of cover without it being full-on Lady Godiva hairshroud, and it also fits over my little chest with a minimum of hovering, but still just enough space for a little peek. If that's your bag.

These shorts, these tiny mermaid scale shorts. I love them. Did I mention I met Ariel at Disney World? I totally did. That makes me an honorary mermaid. So I need more scales right? They're by Aphrodisiac at Suicide Dollz, and I picked them up in several colours. They're a great match with the thigh-high boots from Reign I picked up for Fifty Linden Friday a few weeks back. They're so detailed, right down to the structure of the zipper on the back. My wearing them came by happy inventory-sorting coincidence, likewise my fantastic retro grandpa glasses by Soothe, which prevent me from looking like a stripper. Yay!

Busy day today - various things commencing and whatnot. I started my day in SL by starting the exciting new Wayward Hunt, which is a rebranding of the venerable Zombie Popcorn event group, but it turned out I'd jumped the gun, since it didn't actually start until 1pm SLT, and here I was excitedly running around at like, 5am or something. Stupid timezones. So I plan on picking that up again after I've finished this post, since there's some cracking stores along that trail.

Instead of that, I did the also just-started-today TAG Gacha thingy, which combines the hopping from store to store nature of a hunt with the wallet drainingness of a gacha event! Um but I made it sound much less fun than it is. You wear a HUD and it teleports you to each shop and you click the thing there to show you've been there, and then there's a gacha machine you can optionally play and in each machine you have the chance to win a Rare ticket for a special prize at the end! Phew! The theme for this round is circus sideshow and there's plenty of creepy cute greatest show on earth stuff to play for along the way! 

It's where I met my little friend(s) here, Sai-Khwa, the two-headed monster of Thailand! Lassitude & Ennui's machine is packed full of a circus of cute and special cats, all of whom have their own little story, there's more to Sai-Khwa than meets the eye!

My shirt is by Offbeat at Xiasumi School Festival and I liked it because the ink blot looked like Mickey Mouse. I bought it on hyasynth Tiramisu's recommendation and then I bought the pants she recommended too and then was for some reason startled today when I went to see her and we were dressed the same-ish. On the one hand, I should probably be more original, on the other hand, I could have a much worse occasional stylist than her.

My awesome hair is by Olive at The Kawaii Project. I remember a few years ago, just before mesh was a thing, streaked hair was all over the place and I loved it, throwing a blonde streak all up in there. It's rarer now but I always jump on it when it's an option. My eye makeup is gorgeously layered and by Wicked Peach at Black Fashion Fair which also opened today because today is apparently epic. 

Oh, and my poster is by Frogstar at The End, a post-apocalyptic event which didn't open epic-today, but yesterday, which is close enough. The numbers on the poster can be changed. I chose 626 because of reasons, and if you can guess my reasons, you can be my friend!
