Starting tomorrow, I am going to be away from home for almost two months. I'll have my laptop, but it's not nearly as nice as my desktop, so while I will be able to be in SL and even blog some, my pictures are likely to be a bit um...worse. So I figured I should make the effort to be a bit more grown-up for this post.

It was tough to stop running around as a kid, so I needed to shock myself out of with by being all sexy, that's what's happening here, and also, here (nsfw) - kind of jarring, I know, but there's a whole slew of sexy events going on right now.

ROMP's Fresh spin-off event is one of these, showcasing a softer, more delicate side of kink. The Capture Me bed by Frogstar is from that event, shown here in the dark wood "Deviant" variant, but also in keeping with Fresh's theme, there is also an "Angel" version with light wood and white sheets. The bed itself is big enough for a small orgy, is loaded with Adult animations and cuddles, and rather importantly, incorporates a lockable cage for those who aren't allowed to play right now.

My Yes, Mistress eyemakeup by The Wicked Peach is also from Fresh, and has variations with either gold or silver liner on the lower lid.

My dress is by Insanya at the Burlesque event which is also going on right now. It comes in 8 lovely colours and a variety of sizes outside of the Standard. The skirt is very short in front and a little longer in the back, and the dress has a lovely bow on the back, and it makes me feel like a disreputable saloon girl.

My shoes are from one of Ducknipple's latest bargain SLX outfits, Brussel. The full outfit comes with a texture-change bustier, skirt, jewelry and these hot shoes, currently available for a promo price of only 100L$!

My usual red hair looked a bit heavy with this look, so I reverted my hair by Magika to its traditional out-of-the-box pale pink, which I must say, I really really like.

My smile here actually doesn't use any emoters or such. It's actually achieved with various changes to my shape, plus an openmouth alpha, and two sets of teeth (one mesh, one flat, to fill in the gaps). It's based on me when I was about 17 and going through my half-hearted late 90s goth phase and messy hair, and my husband just looked over and said it looked like me. So that was nice.

The adorable decorative window next to me there reads "Let out sadness", so I figured it would be worth my while to put on a smile. The Loud Mouth Danika Smile version is something I've been looking at for a while now so I broke down and got it. Can't quite get it looking natural but it's pretty cute.

My sweater and skirt are a group gift from [Bubble] (join fee 150L), which can be picked up instore along with all the past group gifts. I love the subtle, muted shades of it, it feels like peppermints and marshmallows.  

It goes perfectly with this hair from Olive, which in this shade, a good Niv-ish red, fading down into a soft minty green, was her offering for this week's Fifty Linden Friday, along with the christmas tree lights choker. As of the time I'm posting this, it's actually still out, if you hurry hurry hurry! I warmed the look up a bit with mellow pastel tights from Izzies. 

My shoes are from DaneMarkZ and come in a bunch of colours and festive holly sprigs, and my nails are free by La Boheme in the All I Want for Christmas hunt. 

Also, look how lovely and pale and interesting I'm looking! Pink Fuel released their Doll v2 skin in a new tone, Vamp, which comes in various option packs regarding the included appliers, and also has a generous set of makeup and effect tattoos with it. I completely love it, since I've spent the last few months looking altogether too healthy. Now I just need the slightly-warmer-than-this Porcelain tone and it'll be perfect!

I don't need no excuse to cosplay Ariel.

This rad sketch-style skater dress is by Noodles at Geeks n Nerds Fair and comes in various themes including Disney Princesses, Hogwarts uniforms, and Star Wars, and they are all amazing quirky love. 

The hair I got in Olive's amazing 75% off Black Friday sale (sadly now over) is PERFECT with it, and I'm wearing Fri.day's wellies from Kawaii Project because I don't want to get my feet wet. Though that's Splash! lore, I guess.

The necklace which is a dead ringer for Ursula/Vanessa's in The Little Mermaid was actually a freebie from Erare, the mermaidy side project at Celoe. It might still be there even. 

About my lip colour - it's from Nova Bodyshop, which is still relatively um....nova - and honestly their lipsticks are some of the best value on the grid if you own one or more mesh mouths. You get like 10 or more system layer lip colours within a colour family, plus appliers for Loud Mouth AND Nyam Nyam, all for usually about L$100, and as you can see, they're wonderful quality. 

My fishy companions are both from silentsparrow but separately. The one on the right is from the Elemen-Tails gacha machine, the other is a plushie available in the normal buying sort of way. They are each lovely though.
