Goodness, look at me, wearing clothes intended for adults! Incredible! Not just any grownups clothes, grownups clothes that are coordinated! See the part where my dress matches my shoes. I'm terribly fancy. My tasty vintage dress and shoes combo is from GDit, a new mainstore release. The Dinner Party Set includes a fitted mesh dress for standard and mesh bodies, and shoes to fit both Slink and Maitreya feet. It includes not only the cream with coffee accents I'm wearing here, but also a rich coffee with cream detailing of both, and indeed made me want coffee. The iced coffee I'm carrying is from the Gilded Cage gacha by Tres Blah, from the round of Arcade which has just ended. It's almost my drink of choice from Starbucks - an iced mocha, with no whip. And an extra shot. But this seems milkier than I want. Ah well. 

I'm really enjoying being able to wear makeup again. It's a little more of a challenge trying to find new makeup these days for us stubborn types of don't wear a mesh head, but I'm still having a lot of fun finding new-to-me places that offer tattoo layer makeup. I especially love this lipstick from Shiny Stuffs, who now mostly make stuff for Catwa, but have quite a few system cosmetics, and the pouty shape of these red pinup lips is just glorious. I've also been wearing a lot of Veechi makeup lately, here, eyeliner, which I've paired with glitter from an old favorite of mine, Nox. 

My backdrop here is a rather neat gacha set from Culco from earlier this year, Street Sartorial, it comprises various bits of London-inspired street furniture - wall facades, railings, sidewalks, streetlamps, that sort of thing, and is super-useful for photography sets, I love that this sort of thing is becoming more common.

So it got to be a new year and so I'm like, doing a thing, this thing, remember the time I used to do this thing? More relevant: remember the time I used to do this thing without opening my posts with some passage about remembering how I used to do this thing? 

Yeah....Good times...

So, okay, I spent most of December wearing sweaters, almost all of them from Ugly Sweater gachas by 8Bit, soooo many ugly holiday sweaters. But it's not so much December anymore so Xmas sweaters aren't the thing, so here I am in their Bee-Mas sweater, which I do actually own in RL. Except it's a little bigger in RL. My skirt looks plain but I can't believe I never used it before, it's so incredibly simple and versatile, it's from Petite Bowtique, a gacha which I guess might not be available anymore, but it was the Hogwarts uniform one, and I'll have to remember to use it more! 

So like, my boots. ALL DECEMBER, I wore variants of these amazing reindeer boots from Blubb. They were SO cute, and it helped that my cabin at my school's winter camp was The Reindeers, I wore the heck out of those boots in all their different styles, but they're none of them available now, so I picked up some other boots from Blubb, these polkadot rainboots. Why Blubb? 1. Because I <3 Jennah, who owns it, and 2. because alas, Blubb is closing down and is in the midst of a sale, everything 75L or less! 

My adorable hairband is from Tic Tot Toe at the new round of Hello Beautiful, and includes 6 colours in the pack but this red one goes with my boots nicely, and I like the fact that sugar skulls aren't just for November 1st! I don't wear a ton of jewelry, but this gingerbread man ring was part of an xmas present and is so cute, it's by Yummy from the Arcade, which has just finished so you'll need to track it down at a yardsale somewhere I guess. 

Finally my nails (at least in the second picture) are from Hello Dave's wonderful advent calender, which I played religiously because of how Hello Dave's nails are Omega compatible so I can wear them with my TD. Just because I'm 6 doesn't mean I can't rock a fierce manicure.

Various hunts and things going on right now, in all the excitement over the Wayward Hunt (which is actually officially properly started now, and I eventually finished - I am very easily distracted) I forgot to mention the other hunt that I look forward to quite frequently - the Unknown Hunt. As the name would suggest, it focuses only on stores which have been open for a year or less. The item I'm featuring in this post, the awesome flamingo dresser I'm sitting on, is from a store I know well, not unknown at all, Little Llama, the owner of which, the delightful Percey Garcia, I know from Plurk and am so proud of how her brand;s been growing over the past several months. 

My dress is by Miseria on the Wayward Hunt, and coordinates perfectly with the colours I'd already chosen for the luna moths on my adorable little antlers by silentsparrow at IDK. You can tell they're moths not butterflies because they've got these fuzzy antennae and then they are at rest their wings are out flat like that instead of together and sticking up. That's like - the only thing I know about anything.

Conversely, a store I didn't know about that I'm wearing in this post, I first encountered on the Wayward Hunt, the store "Things", which is very hard to find in any kind of search! My tattoos today are from there, though they are not the hunt prize (that's some awesome henna hand tattoos). Anyway, I just totally adored the various shapes and patterns of these tattoos, they're what I often find myself looking for and the prices are great too. If you can find the place, that is. 

I bought PXL's Sweet Lips mesh mouth several months ago when it was first released, but never really had a chance to play with it until now. Of course there was the perennial issue of a lack of appliers, but recently Mochi Milena updated a her appliers for the Doll skin in Vamp with a massive amount of new options, I can't imagine how much work it was, and now I have a perfect skin match and can overlook any minor flaws and I think it looks really fantastic and I'm happy to add it to my pile of mouths.

My back hurts from playing too much Just Dance. That is the current full truth of my life. It's sad. 

This outfit contains no elements of what I had intended to wear except for the hair. It's one of those things where I was like "well I'll just change that.....and now this bit looks weird...." and so on. I'm leaning too heavily on yellows and purples lately. It's okay though. I dig yellow.

Okay so, my top is from the SLX outfit "Pawned". Ducknipple's SLX outfits which I have been featuring pieces from lately really are excellent value for money. The outfit currently has a promo price of 100L and for that you get this top (which comes in 5 color change options with a HUD), shorts, boots, and jewelry. 

With it I'm wearing Insanya's Ruffle Tutu, which has become a bit of a staple of my wardrobe. It's absurdly short, which in part is what makes it so versatile along with the wide range of colours and patterns it's available in, but the fact remains it is absurdly short. Luckily, so am I, and I have the good fortune to have tights. I've featured these before on my blog, they're by Schadenfreude, and one of the things I particularly love about them is that there are options about the height of the waistband - a lot of other tights I tried showed over the top of this skirt. 

Also by Schadenfreude in this post is my parasol, from the current round of The Seasons Story, and my bracelet, from this round of Collabor88, because I can never wear too much Schadenfreude. 

On the table next to me is a donation item from Xiasumi School Festival, with the proceeds going towards Save the Children: Japan Tsunami Relief. It's by silent sparrow and is adorable spooky-cute ghost-shaped daifuku mochi, which is a snack I love so very much. There's scripted holdable versions and mouthie versions and the tray gives you them and it's awesome.

Thisss dressssss. I haven't taken it off for days. It's by Third Eye, and the curves on it are just so very luscious. The textures too, I'm a sucker for galaxy patterns and the like, but the seams and the tight stretch of the fabric is what I love most about the dress. 

What better to go with space than unicorns! Unicorns in space! This month's round of Collabor88 is unicorns - although not in space. My horn is one of several on offer there by Schadenfreude. The Schadenhorns (as I'm calling them) range from unicornitilitarian to super unicorn princessy, with shiny embellishments and optional jeweled headdresses and legendary heaps of colour options and metals and even spiraling in the opposite direction. For the serious unicorn.

Also from Collabor88, MishMish's baby unicorn is so freaking cute I could actually die. It's animated! It wriggles! It also reminds me of the far away days when we all went off to Sensual Stoneworks and did unspeakable things with unicorn stallions to acquire unicorn babies. Getting this one was less shameful, which was nice.

My little little rings are by Noodles, they're their entry in this round of Oh My Gacha. They're individual and come in four different metals, there are 12 of them, all over the various fingers. I love the variety of them, and how delicate they are, they can be worn individually to be very subtle or lots together for a really cool effect. Behind me is the other OneWord release by Atooly Home, I love clouds so much!
